About Me
About me
Hello there! My name is Daniel Voicu. I work as a copywriter for MB Dragan, a Romanian advertising agency. I write for a living, and I also write for the thrills of it. Hopefully, someday I’ll publish at least some of the things I wrote.
When I was 17 I managed to get an email interview with Eric S. Raymond for Linux Magazine Romania. I’m still proud of it though I would change some questions at this moment. I also had a short collaboration with OSLiving.com and helped out in its development. I’m trying to get more involved in helping out open source communities through testing software, translating documentation and offering support on diverse online communities.
I’ve started playing the harmonica a few months ago, and I hope to keep this thing going for a long time.
About the blog
I started this blog in 2007. At first I wanted to make some sort of geeky online magazine but after realising that I don’t have the necessary means and time to continue that, I turned it into my personal blog. My rants and ramblings will go from advertising topics to Linux and some more personal things. It might look like a hotchpotch because I write in Romanian AND English but I prefer writing in both languages because I change my mind pretty often because I like to create in both of them.
