Twitter – Good for advertising, get to know people and a lot of spam.
Tumblr – Didn’t use it but i saw a few profiles. almost everyone copies from others. Or they just post pictures with almost 0 text. C’mon, i think some text there will fit perfectly.
Your blog – it’s perfect for me, it really saved me lots of time in the past. When i’m depressed i go there and i write. It and twitter really helped me.
Facebook – maybe for farmvile )

In ultimul timp nici eu nu mai scriu atat des pe cat mi-am planuit pe propriul blog. Timpul e de vina, ce sa-i facem… si bloggingul inca nu-ti da de mancare (cel putin mie) .

Hi(gh)! Thanks for posting this presentation, it is kind of helpful, although it can be disappointing to find out how much time is needed to create a proper content for a webpage…
I was really amused by the “lorem ipsum” slide, it’s kind of different of the one met in Microsoft Office, for example. Here is a short story of lorem ipsum (it is written in romanian): http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum . Anyway, Howe is wright, web content sucks and sometimes does look like lorem ipsum…full of “cliches”.

Maybe somewhere in the world there is a genius planning right now something that will blow us away in 20-30 years.

I think it would be interesting to find out how often something really huge is discovered/invented. Maybe it has to pass some hundreds years in order to make a leap in technology.

On the other hand it may be true that the new ways of “socializing” prevent us from pursuing great goals and actually make us lose time. This is especially true for us, the people from the online industry.

Listen…In the first two paragraphs I’m totally agree with you.I saw SF series movies that talked about things and facts in years like 2002, for example, that would have never been happening.
However, this conception we have is because we tend to rely only on the material evolution, neglecting spiritual evolving. As you said, we do not need to get always on line connected, because by doing that we are renouncing little by little to the concept that says: “No man is an island.” People don’t talk as much as it needed and I mean real discussions.
As for the inventions…I don’t wanna play the nationalist kind (though loving isn’t country isn’t a sin, even if it’s named Romania), but I would’ve liked reading about a Romanian inventor, too, in your article.

I don’t think geniuses will just pop up so fast. I don’t think because there are too many stupid ppl, the geniuses can’t just pop up, they are suffocated and they kinda lose hope.

@Iulia, ai spus niste vorbe frumoase si le-am notat. Si eu am prieteni care m-au sustinut. M-au sustinut ei mai mult decat m-am sustinut eu. Si, desigur, tot ei au avut mai multa incredere in ceea ce pot face decat am avut eu incredere. La fel ca tine, nu traiesc din blogging si scriu mai rar datorita timpului limitat. Pot spune ca traiesc din scris, dar nu din blogging. Avem inca un lucru in comun: apreciez criticile daca vin pe un ton civilizat si sunt spuse intr-un mod constructiv.

@Irina, poate m-am exprimat gresit in articol si am stabilit niste limite gresite. Ma bucur ca ai comentat, mai ales ca putem discuta si “offline” pe tema asta. La fel ca tine, nu scriu fortat. Ma gandesc ca as putea scrie ceva si intr-un mod fortat, dar as scrie complet anapoda. Multumesc de sfaturi! Voi scrie cateva, le tin in draft si caut sa public cat de des pot. Desigur, in limita timpului disponibil.

@Guus: Si eu scriu in primul rand pentru mine, dar ma bucur atunci cand stiu ca lucrurile pe care le-am scris sunt de folos si altora. in momentul in care iti faci public un blog, automat scrii si pentru altii, nu doar pt tine. (idee sustinuta si de Ovidiu, din cate vad)

@Incasha, la mine e teama de parerile altora si apoi de foaia goala. Foaia goala o pot umple oricand cu ceva, dar ma gandesc apoi: lucrurile puse pe foaia asta au vreo valoare? Ajuta cu ceva?

- Cu Oana si cu Ioan am discutat mai detaliat in afara blogului, asa ca nu voi mai adauga aceleasi pareri aici. Sper sa nu se supere.

@Ovidiu, nu ma compar cu marii scriitori, dar e bine de stiut ca se intampla si la case mai mari. ) Daca nu imi place un articol si il sterg, dar poate fi apreciat de altii (chiar daca eu il consider prost), ce se intampla?

Imi plac foarte mult comentariile voastre. E ceva tare fain in fiecare din ele. Fiecare din ele mi-a adus ceva nou. Multumesc frumos!

Salut!
Ce sa zic…stii si tu ca nu am cine stie ce blog si nici nu sunt vreun expert in blogging (daca exista asa ceva…;)). Totusi, sunt de acord cu unele persoane de aici si ma regasesc si in temerile tale si in sfaturile lor. As avea doar de obiectat fata de ce a spus Guus in legatura cu scrisul pentru public (cand se refera la bani/aplauze are dreptate), pentru ca trebuie sa iei in considerare si cei care ar citi ce scrii, d-aia este un blog public. Ca altfel e ca si cand ai publica regulat un ziar dar nu l-ai vinde de frica ridicolului. Cine stie, poate ce scrii tu poate ajuta pe cineva…bineinteles ,zic asta pt. ca te cunosc si stiu ca nu ai scrie sau posta cine stie ce gogomanii mai mari ca tine (sau ai scrie dar mai putin…;P just joking).
OK…acum sa ma apuc si eu sa dau sfaturi…
In privinta acestei timiditati speciale, tin sa iti spun ca e foarte simplu de procedat atat impotriva fricii de ridicol cat si impotriva fricii de regret ca nu vei scrie: publici articolul si daca nu place/iti place, pur si simplu il stergi/modifici. Desigur, trebuie sa faci asta in timp util,altfel va trebui sa recurgi la erate.:D (glumesc).
Si marii scriitori au avut problema asta. De exemplu, Marin Preda, in perioadele lui bune de scris, scria…3 pagini pe zi la un roman. Deci…
Sper sa iti rezolvi problema si sa iti filtrezi bine articolele, apeland chiar la exercitiul de curaj propus de Irulan.
